Yellowbird margarine is the first product of the Margarine Fats and Oil Co Ltd. Many people know the factory as the Yellowbird factory. Unfortunately many consumers forgot this product over the years. Yellowbird has recently been re-launched in a new formulation in order to provide the consumer with a healthier product. It is now All Vegetable, contains no cholesterol and is enriched with vitamins A and D3.
Packed in 225 gram wrappers it is an absolute must in any kitchen, to spread, bake and cook.

This is also
an all-vegetable margarine. It contains vitamins A en
D3 and is also
indispensable in any kitchen for spreading baking and cooking.
The difference between Yellowbird and Golden Brand Margarine is in the flavor and the fact that Golden Brand is packed in 250 g wrappers.

MARGARINE AND BUTTER
SIMILARITIES
Margarine and butter both consist of a minimum of 80 % fat and a maximum of 16 % water to which salt, emulsifiers, flavor, color and preservatives are added.
DIFFERENCES
The differences between margarine and butter are:
* The fat phase of butter consist of milkfat only, while the fat phase
of margarine contains no milkfat but is a blend of different types of oils and fats.

D3 are added to margarine. |

5. Bake 'n fry shortening
Bake ‘n Fry is an
all vegetable shortening and contains solely oils and fats. This
product is suitable for deep-frying at a temperature of 180 degrees
Celsius and for baking bread, cakes and pastries. Bake’n Fry can be
used 8 times after which it needs to be replaced. Bake ‘n Fry is
also suitable to grease baking sheets.
